Let's plan a lesson with the Lesson Plan Maker, right here on the home page. First, choose a format. There's a UK lesson plan, an EYFS activity plan, a standard US plan, and models such as 5E, Madeline Hunter and Understanding by Design.
Then fill in the boxes: the title, subject, year group, date and length. In the timed sections, give each part of the lesson its minutes. The total adds up underneath, so you can see straight away if you've planned too much.
There's no Save button. Your plan saves itself in this browser as you type. Not sure where to start?
Press Fill with example to see a finished plan. It opens as a new plan, so your own work is kept safe. When you're ready, look under Save and share.
Download a Word file, print it, save a PDF, or press Copy for Google Docs and paste it into a new document. Want a paper copy to fill in by hand? Press Print blank template.
And you can switch format at any time, without losing what you've written. Try the Lesson Plan Maker now at lessonplanner.info.
It's free, and you don't need an account.
