Can I switch my lesson plan to a different format without losing my work?
Yes. Choose another format from the Lesson plan format list. Everything you have typed is kept, including sections that the new format doesn’t show.
Step by step
- Open your plan in the Lesson Plan Maker.
- Choose a new format from the Lesson plan format list at the top.
- A message confirms “Your text is kept”. Sections with the same purpose carry across.
- If some of your sections have no place in the new format, a note says how many are hidden. Switch back to the old format to see them again.

Some of my writing has vanished after switching
It is hidden, not deleted. The note under the form tells you how many sections are kept but not shown. Choose your previous format again and they reappear.
Which format should I use?
