Behavior Chart Maker

Make a printable behavior chart or sticker reward chart in a minute. Write positive goals, choose a design and print.

Everything you type stays in this browser. Use first names or numbers only.

Writing goals that work

Effective behavior charts use a few positive, specific goals ("Keep hands and feet to myself") rather than rules about what not to do. Keep it to two to four goals, review them at the end of each day, and celebrate progress, not perfection.

Two kinds of chart

  • Weekly goals chart: goals down the side and days across the top. Add a sticker or stamp when a goal is met.
  • Sticker / reward chart: 10 to 30 numbered spaces. When the chart is full, the student earns the reward you agreed.

Good practice

  • Agree the goals and the reward with the student.
  • Keep individual charts private (a folder or desk) rather than on the wall.
  • Pair the chart with specific praise: say what they did well.

The UK spelling is "behaviour chart"; the chart works just the same.
