Child-safety rules
- Teacher-to-teacher contact only. Pupils never contact each other through Classfern.
- Use only your school’s approved tools and follow both schools’ online-safety and photo policies.
- Share pupils’ work only with school permission, without names or faces unless both schools’ consent rules allow it.
- No pupil personal data on Classfern – no names, photos, ages, contact details or class lists.
- The host school decides what checks a visitor needs and supervises visitors with pupils.
Classfern is a noticeboard for teachers and schools. We do not arrange exchanges, jobs, visas, accommodation or safeguarding checks, and we do not check anyone’s identity, qualifications or background beyond confirming a school email address. You and your school are responsible for following immigration rules, employment law and safeguarding duties. This is not legal or immigration advice – see our Official routes page and the government websites it links to.
