Tip: empty boxes print as lines to write on, so you can also print this blank and fill it in by hand.

Daily or weekly?

  • Daily schedule: times down the side with subjects or activities, ideal for elementary classrooms with a set routine.
  • Weekly schedule: times down the side and Monday to Friday across, for specials, rotating blocks and pull-outs.

Tip: a visible daily schedule helps students, especially younger children and students who find change hard, know what comes next. Point to it at each transition.

Put the time remaining on the board with the classroom timer, and add a copy to your sub binder.
