Your Report Writer data lives only in your browser. That keeps it private… but it means backups are up to you.
Open Backup and safety, choose a long passphrase, and press Download encrypted backup. Nobody, not even us, can open it without the passphrase, so don't lose it. Keep the file where your school allows, like your school drive.
Moving to another computer? Choose Restore from a backup file there, and type the passphrase. You can download marks as a spreadsheet too, but that file is not encrypted, so store it carefully.
At the end of the year, take a final backup if your school wants one, then delete your classes. On a shared computer, use Delete all pupil data on this device. Find out more about Classfern Pro at lessonplanner.
