  • 5.NO.NBT.2 Compare decimals to thousandths and justify.
  • 5.NO.NBT.3 Round decimals to any place.
  • 5.NO.NBT.4 Multiply multi-digit whole numbers flexibly, including with the algorithm.

  • 5.NO.NBT.6 Divide up to four-digit numbers by two-digit divisors with models and justification.
  • 5.NO.NBT.7 Explain zeros in products and decimal-point shifts when multiplying or dividing by powers of 10.
  • 5.NO.NF.1 Write equivalent forms of common fractions and decimals, in lowest terms.
  • 5.NO.NF.2 Explain why multiplying by a fraction greater than one makes a number larger and less than one smaller.
  • 5.NO.NF.3 Add and subtract unlike fractions and mixed numbers in word problems.
  • 5.NO.NF.4 Multiply fractions and mixed numbers in word problems using visual models.

Algebraic Reasoning (AR)

  • 5.AR.OA.1 Multiply and divide automatically up to 12 × 12.

  • 5.AR.OA.4 Find factor pairs and multiples for 1–100 and classify numbers as prime or composite.
  • 5.AR.OA.5 Make two number patterns from rules, form ordered pairs and graph them.

Geometry and Measurement (GM)

  • 5.GM.G.1 Classify 2D figures in a hierarchy by their properties.
  • 5.GM.G.2 Use x- and y-coordinates to graph and name first-quadrant points.
  • 5.GM.G.3 Form ordered pairs and graph first-quadrant points to solve word problems.
  • 5.GM.M.1 Convert among standard units in one system to solve multi-step problems.
