This is the School Report Writer, part of Classfern Pro. Before we start… everything you put in stays in your browser, on your device.

It's never sent to us. You can try it with a sample class of made-up pupils, or create your own. Give your class a name, the year group, school year and terms, then choose a report style.

There are styles for EYFS, KS1 and KS2, secondary and GCSE, and US report cards. Add your subjects. Each one can have its own grading: working towards, expected and greater depth, marks out of a total, GCSE grades, US letter grades or your own scale.

Now add your pupils. We recommend a number or code for each pupil, like 07. That's the safest.

First names are fine if your school allows. If you type a full name, it warns you. You can import a whole list, and choose the pronoun for each pupil's comments.

Finally, add your school name and how you sign your reports. Find out more about Classfern Pro at lessonplanner.info.

The free tools always stay free.
