2.1 Numbers and Operations
- CC.2.1.3.B.1 Use place value to round whole numbers and to add and subtract fluently within 1000.
- CC.2.1.3.C.1 Understand fractions as numbers: place them on a number line and make and compare fractions.
2.2 Algebraic Concepts
- CC.2.2.3.A.1 Represent and solve problems with multiplication and division.
- CC.2.2.3.A.2 Understand properties of multiplication and how multiplication and division are related. (being checked)
- CC.2.2.3.A.3 Multiply and divide within 100 fluently.
- CC.2.2.3.A.4 Solve problems with the four operations and find and explain patterns in arithmetic.
2.3 Geometry
- CC.2.3.3.A.1 Identify, compare and classify shapes by their attributes.
- CC.2.3.3.A.2 Split shapes into equal-area parts and name each part's area as a unit fraction.
2.4 Measurement, Data, and Probability
- CC.2.4.3.A.1 Solve problems and estimate with measurements (time intervals, liquid volume, mass).
- CC.2.4.3.A.2 Tell and write time to the minute and work out elapsed time.
- CC.2.4.3.A.3 Solve money problems and make change with coins and bills.
- CC.2.4.3.A.4 Show and interpret data in picture graphs, bar graphs and line plots.
- CC.2.4.3.A.5 Find the area of a rectangle using multiplication and addition; find perimeters and unknown sides of polygons.
- CC.2.4.3.A.6 Tell linear measures (perimeter) apart from area measures.
