Kitchen timers
Works in the UK and the US. This version uses US words and measures (stove, cups, °F); the UK version uses hob, grams and gas marks. · UK version of this page
Add a timer for each part of the meal – pasta, sauce, oven – and name each one. Big numbers for the class, and a beep when time is up.
The timers need JavaScript switched on.
No sign-up, and nothing you type is collected.
How it works in the kitchen
Planning backwards is a real kitchen skill: add up the preparation, cooking and cooling time, then count back from when you want to eat. Start the longest job first and set a timer for each job so nothing is forgotten.
