Welcome to Classfern… a free lesson planning and classroom toolkit for teachers, in the UK and the US. You don't need an account.

What you make is saved in your own browser, on your own device. Start with the Lesson Plan Maker for a single lesson, or the Year Planner to plan a whole year that fits your school's real term dates. Get a TIP gives you a Teacher Information Pack for your year group or course, with the curriculum statements and exam facts.

The classroom tools are made for the board: timers, name pickers, groups, a visual timetable and the Class Screen. There are hundreds of templates, risk assessments for trips, exam course packs and an education glossary. There are free report comments too, and the School Report Writer comes with Classfern Pro.

If you get stuck, every page has a Help link, and a Report a problem link if something isn't right. Classfern Pro, our members' area, adds the Report Writer, the teachers' forum, jobs and exchanges, and no adverts. Find out more about Classfern Pro at lessonplanner.
