- Calculators: Scientific or graphical calculator in all papers (JCQ rules); needs iterative function, 3x3 matrix inversion, summary statistics, binomial and Normal probabilities.
- Options: Two of Statistics, Mechanics, Discrete Mathematics, Additional Pure Mathematics.
- Routes: Y540 and Y541 plus any two optional papers; more may be taken (best combination counts, spec 3g).
- Dates: First teaching 2017 from the qualification page name; first assessment 2019 from the spec.
- AS level: H235 (AS marks do not count towards the A level)
Not yet confirmed by us: AS H235: page gives Pure core 1 as 75 marks and each option as 60 marks but all as 33⅓% (scaling not explained on the page).. Check the official documents.
