Logic puzzles and logical reasoning practice
Free logic puzzles for ages 7 to adult: ordering, seating, who-has-what, day puzzles and 'must it be true?' questions, each checked by computer.
These are practice puzzles, not an IQ test. A real IQ test is standardised and given by a qualified psychologist.
Scores are shown simply as the number right out of the number of questions (for example, 18 out of 25), with an explanation for every question. We never give an IQ number, a percentile or a label, and we never compare you with other people.

The tests
About these tests
These short deduction puzzles ask you to use the clues and nothing else. A program reads every puzzle and tries every possible arrangement to make sure the clues lead to exactly one answer.
How to use these tests
- Each test picks 20–25 questions at random from a bank of 40 or more, so you can try again and get a different set. There is no time limit unless you choose one. Children aged 7–8 may like an adult to read the questions with them. Use the explanations at the end to learn the rule behind each puzzle.
Plan the teaching

No login. Everything runs in your browser and nothing you answer is sent to us – unless you choose to report a problem with a question.
Suggest a test – or, after a test, use “Report a problem with this question” on the answers screen.
