How do I use the spin the wheel tool?
Add at least two names to the class list and press Spin. Tick Remove the winner so each name only comes up once; Put removed names back restores them.
Step by step
- Open spin the wheel.
- Add your names (at least two), or choose a saved class list.
- Press Spin, or the SPIN button in the centre of the wheel.
- Tick Remove the winner to take each winner off the wheel.
- Press Put removed names back to start again with everyone.
- Switch the tick sound on or off with the sound button.
Questions and fixes
The wheel says “Add at least two names”
The wheel needs two or more names. Type them in the class list box, one per line.
I can’t hear any sound
Check the tool’s sound button is on, your device isn’t muted and the volume is up. Browsers only play sound after you have clicked or tapped on the page at least once. On an iPhone, the silent switch can mute web pages.
Full screen doesn’t work on my iPhone
iPhones don’t let web pages go truly full screen. The tool fills the browser window instead. Turn the phone sideways and use the browser’s reader or zoom options for more room. On an iPad, full screen works in recent versions of Safari.
