How do I print a blank lesson plan template?
Choose a format, then press Print blank template or Blank Word template under “Save and share”. You get the empty form for that format, without your text.

- Open the Lesson Plan Maker or a template page.
- Choose the format you want from the Lesson plan format list.
- Press Print blank template to print it, or Blank Word template to download an empty .docx.

The printout is cut off or has the wrong margins
In the print window, set the scale to “Default” or “Fit to page”, keep margins on “Default”, and check the paper size (A4 in the UK, Letter in the US). Turning on “Background graphics” keeps coloured boxes and shading.
How do I save it as a PDF instead of printing?
In the print window, change the printer (often called “Destination”) to Save as PDF or Microsoft Print to PDF, then press Save. On an iPhone or iPad, use Print, then pinch out on the preview and share it as a PDF.
