Where are my saved lesson plans?
Press My plans in the Lesson Plan Maker. Every plan saved in this browser is listed there, newest date first, with Open, Duplicate and Delete buttons.
Step by step
- Open the Lesson Plan Maker in the same browser you used before.
- Press My plans. The number in brackets shows how many plans are saved.
- Press Open next to the plan you want.
- Use Duplicate to start a new plan from a copy, or Delete to remove one (this can’t be undone).
Questions and fixes
My work has gone, or isn’t there on another computer
Your lesson plans is saved in this browser on this device only – nothing is stored with us, so we can’t get it back for you. It won’t appear in a different browser, on another device, or in a private (incognito) window, and clearing your browser’s history or “site data” deletes it. Some school computers clear everything when you log off.
My plans list is empty
Plans are only listed in the browser and device where you made them. Check you are using the same browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari…) and the same computer, and not a private window. If you made a backup file, use Restore from backup in My plans.
Can I get my plans on another computer?
Yes: download a backup on the first computer and restore it on the second. Classfern Pro members can also sync lesson plans to their account.
