How do I find the Teacher Information Pack (TIP) for my year group or grade?
Go to Get a TIP and type your year or grade and subject, for example “Year 4 maths”, “KS3 science”, “3rd grade math” or “GCSE biology AQA”. Choose the pack from the list.
Step by step
- Open Get a TIP.
- Type your year group or grade and subject into the search box. Spelling mistakes, “maths” or “math”, and Key Stage names are all understood.
- Choose your pack from the suggestions. Packs cover England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the US and international qualifications.
- Read the pack: what is taught, key vocabulary and the curriculum statements, with links to the official documents.
Questions and fixes
My course isn’t found
Try fewer words (“Year 9 history” rather than a topic), or browse the country pages: Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and international. If it is still missing, tell us with Report a problem and we’ll look at adding it.
The search box does nothing
The search list is downloaded the first time you type, so it needs a connection. Check you are online and type again.
